Kauyumari

Blue Deer

Kauyumari

In the Huichol cosmogony (one of the 68 indigenous ethnic groups in México). The blue deer, Kauyumari, simultaneously appears as the creator of corn and the divine presence of prosperity and livelihood.

Hunter and prey simultaneously, the Kauyumari connects the spiritual world with the earth. The deer sacrifices himself to transform into the sacred cactus peyote, with which the Wixarikas (the Huichol people) contact their ancestors and access an interdimensional portal of deep understanding.

Transtemporal rite; unifying movement that connects the past and future. Liminal space of existence sublimation. Aiming to go beyond tridimensionality. Echo of the abyss. Tetra-dimensional golden light multiplies in ball lightning—the body in disintegration, bodies in the sideral axis.
